Treating burns with hot water.
When Treating burns the practitioner has two options; to apply similars (hot/warm water) or opposites (cold water).
If the burn is treated with cold water it will result in a palliative or temporary relief. It will soothe the patients pain at the time but there would be a price to pay. The patient will most likely wind up with a bad scab or blistering of the skin which are both pre-cursers to permanent scarring.
On the other hand if the patient is treated with warm water similar to what they experienced by getting the burn, there would be substantial relief immediately. The patients wound may still blister but to a lesser extent and scarring will be minimal. That is the advantage of treating this condition with the law of similars.
